Excellent product in build, looks and function
This is a fantastic product. Works much better than some more expensive established brands. The scale is solidly build and very pleasing aesthetically. The reading are accurate. The fat% assessment is where it shines. I am on a cut and have been tracking my BF for the last few months. Where my other scale varies wildly based on my body water; this one is consistent and right in the zone where its should be with no major fluctuations.App is a little annoying as its a general WYZE app not specific to health or body but at readings are repeatable, consistent and within spec. Very highly recommended.

This works well, tracks weight automatically in the Wyze app.
This was great! It automatically connects and tracks my weight in the Wyze app when I weigh myself. I don’t need my phone around me or anything because I have the Wifi connected. I wish it connected to my Samsung health app automatically because I prefer that app over the google fitness app. I won’t give it any less stars then 5 because I knew it didn’t before buying it.

Definitely a buy, scroll no further
This thing is amazing and definitely way cool! I owned two Qardio scales before this and unfortunately they went under and would no longer sync with my iPhone for Apple health data. This does just that and all the same things that my last scale did but the screen on this thing is way amazing! I was looking at other well known brands but thier pricing seemed steep and Wyze is a very good company but with budget friendly pricing. For the health side of me thing thing does the job, for the tech side of me this one is over the top! I highly recommend and the screen is big, very bright and accurately weighing me compared to the device it was replacing. Highly recommended!! I’d suggest buying to anyone interested!

Nice scale but didn’t really click for me
So I tried this one out for a bit and, I mean, it’s not a bad scale at all. The glass top looks really clean and the weight part was pretty much in the same ballpark as what I’m used to. Maybe half a pound higher sometimes, nothing crazy. That part I can live with. But once I started looking at all the extra stuff it shows, that’s where I kind of fell off. I’m one of those people who actually stares at all the graphs and little trends every morning (yeah, I’m that person lol), so how the data looks matters way more to me than it probably should. And the way this one lays everything out just… didn’t hit right? It’s all there, but it feels kinda jumbled or something. I found myself re-checking screens to make sure I didn’t miss stuff. The build is also a mixed bag. The top feels nice, but the base and the handle are super lightweight. I expected something a little more solid when I picked it up. Not a dealbreaker, just not what I pictured when I ordered it.The cool part though was the breakdown it gives for different areas of your body. Seeing fat in actual pounds for arms, legs, torso, all that, honestly pretty cool and definitely useful if you’re really tracking things closely. I liked that way more than I thought I would.I ended up returning it just because I’m picky with how my info gets shown and this one didn’t really fit the way I track everything. But if you’re not weird about your data layout like I am, I think most people would probably like it a lot more than I did.

Great size. Extra info and it helps weigh pets.
This is a compact modern looking scale that is large enough for bigger feet. It gives a fast weight number and in moments gives a percent body fat figure and other data such as BMI. . I have a 60 lb giant poodle that is hard to weigh on a smaller footprint scale. Easy to follow directions allows me to weigh myself and then both of us and get a do weight. Perfect.

Works great. Trusted brand.
We already had two of these and they work great. The Wyze app makes it easy to track your weight and BMI.

How does Wyze compare to a DEXA Scan?
Not knowing that Wyze had just released an improved scale, I had a DEXA Scan done a couple days ago. The DEXA Scan is considered the industry standard for accuracy and, in the SFBay area, they are $110 per scan (w/o discounts). So how did Wyze do? I fed both reports into perplexity.ai and asked it to give me an analysis.*The Wyze scale provides very accurate body weight compared to DEXA.* The Wyze underestimates body fat percentage by about 2–2.5% and body fat mass.* Lean mass is slightly overestimated on Wyze but within a few percent.* Bone mass from Wyze is not a reliable match; expect overestimation compared to DEXA. (this may not be an apples to apples number though).* For visceral fat, DEXA is more precise and uses a standard measurement (pounds). Though DEXA can measure visceral fat directly, Wyze instead estimates using population-based algorithms that combine impedance data with personal information (age, sex, height, weight, etc.)* For detailed regional analysis, DEXA remains the gold standard, but Wyze’s segmental results are generally suitable for consumer tracking and progress monitoring.I’m not so interested in the segmented measurement so wonder if the handle sensors are critical. Perplexity suggests that this extended data collection with the handle enhances the overall accuracy due to the increased electrode contact points spread across the body, rather than relying solely on feet-based measurements. The net is that for the price of a DEXA scan, you can get a highly accurate at home unit that you can torture yourself at will. Note though, that Wyze doesn’t look at bone density which can be a critical metric as you age.
