Amazing light for cheap
Awesome book light! Why haven’t I gotten this one ages ago? It easily hooks onto the back cover of all my books, then I can angle the light so it’s not in my eyes and only over the page. It has four light settings, two amber, two regular. The USB charging is so convenient, I just hook it up to my laptop every week and charge it up. I need to buy this for all my friends!

Everything I wanted in a book light
I use this light for roughly an hour per night for reading in bed after my husband goes to sleep and it has worked better than I even hoped and last months so far. The light has four settings that is cycles through with each push of the power button. Amber light dim, amber light bright, white light dim, white light bright. I read on the amber light dim setting and it’s plenty bright enough to read by. To turn it off when done you just hold the power button, next time you turn it on it will come back on in whatever setting you turned it off in.I’ve used this light on overly large hardcover books all the way down to thin mass market paperbacks and it’s worked just fine regardless. On a hardcover I can put the clip over just the book cover itself, on a paperback I put it over some pages also so it gets a good grip. It has never dented any of my pages or covers, but neither does it fall off on me while I’m reading, so I consider it perfect. It can clip to either the left or right side of the book and the ‘head’ with the light also swivels back and forth so you can point it at either side if you desire but the light spread is wide enough to illuminate both at once so you don’t need to touch it or make adjustments while reading. I usually just use the swivel to adjust the light away from my husband as much as possible.Like I said above I use it about an hour per night and the light will usually last about 8-9 days before the battery runs out, so I just charge it once a week and never have an issue. When the battery starts to die the light will fade over the course of 30-60 minutes, so even if I forget to charge what usually happens is I’m reading along, notice the light is fading, keep reading anytime to get to a convenient ‘stop spot’, turn the light up to the bright mode if I’m really desperate to keep going so I can eek out a few more minutes, and then finally give up and go to sleep. While I typically plug it in when I wake up in the morning so it’s ready at night, I have found that if I do a quick charge of 10-15 minutes that’s long enough to buy me a night’s reading time in a pinch.I’ve carried this in my purse and in a backpack and traveled with it including camping and using it on planes. It’s very lightweight and has not broken riding around in my bags.In summary, great light, everything I want including cheap!

Works well, even on a laptop, but the hinge could be tighter
The reading light looks exactly like the photos. It worked right out of the box so I didn’t even need to charge it before testing to see if it worked. The power button clicked on easily and there was light immediately. I have yet to need to charge it in the eight days since we first turned it on to use, though the USB end begins charging immediately when connected to a USB port. The light does stay on while charging unless you power it off before plugging it in. Full disclosure, the light is mainly used by my dad when he’s working on his laptop at night so he can see his keyboard better. I haven’t used it for reading any books as I read on my phone.There are two color options: white light and yellow. Each option has a brighter and dimmer setting, you just press the power button once to go through each option (the two levels of white light, followed by the two yellow). To turn off the light, simply press and hold down the power button for 3 seconds and it cuts out.Flexibility wise, the light opens and closes smoothly and the thin metal clamp bit holds on just fine to whatever you attach it to. However, I think the hinge that allows the light to be folded up/down/in half could be tighter. When I angle the body of the light at 90°, it mostly holds that position, but it’s also dropped lower than that a few times. If the hinge was a bit studier, it would hold the angles better than it does currently. The little swivel head at the top with the lamp only turns 180°. Its default position is upright, but it can also be angled downwards.All in all I’d say it’s a nifty little light and quite good value for the price. It’s slim, compact, and lightweight, so you can take it with you in your purse, bag, laptop case etc. anywhere at any time.

Excellent Reading Light
I love this little book light. I’ve had it 9 months and it’s still going strong. Rarerly needs charged. Love the yellow and bright white light setting. It’s sturdy in how it clips to your book and doesn’t get in the way when turning pages. I’d give it 10 stars if I could. Late night reading is possible again.

Chargeable and sturdy!
So I was in the middle of writing not so good of a review but then I went back to the product and actually it’s a 5 star now bc I discovered that you can charge it! I was disappointed bc the light was getting dim but little did I know lol. It’s very sturdy. I like that it has different light settings. I like the yellow like one for when i read before bed. Love it.

The BEST book light!
I’ve gotten two of these now, one for me and one for my husband, because we love these! The battery life and build quality are by far some of the best I’ve seen, having been an avid reader my entire life. It works well and isn’t too bulky, making it functional for even the most oddly-sized books. The light itself is quintessential because it provides customizable light temperature (warm/cold) and brightness settings, making it easy for us to enjoy our books in bed without bothering each other as we sleep.

Must have if you love physical books!
Don’t let the night time reading catch you without a glow up! I use this light not only for reading but when I need to roam my room and don’t want to use my lamp or overhead lighting. I like the flexibility of having it in my bag at all times. The brightness is just enough and not overwhelming. You can adjust the lighting as needed which is a perk. Great for reading in bed or wherever you are!

I looove reading, but when it’s night time and people around me needs the lights off to sleep but I still want to read, I just end up going on my phone even if I still want to read. Thank goodness for this product I can actually read on my own even if it’s dark around. I love how there are different settings, such as the light colour (yellow or white) and the brightness of each. It’s also very easy to turn on and off, by just holding the power button. I also like how there’s a clip at the bottom, so I just clip it on my book and I can read lying down or sideways. It is also rechargeable, which is very convenient. Overall, I love this product!
