My Helmix 2.0 Vortex Blender Shaker Bottle arrived this afternoon and I was anxious to give it a try. Here is my first experimental recipe:* Dairy Milk (filled to desired level)* 1/4 cup strawberry yogurt* 1 scoop strawberry Orgain Plant Based Protein Powder* 1 scoop vanilla Orgain Grass Fed Whey Powder* 1/4 cup organic raw instant oatmeal (This can also be in powdered form)* 1 tsp almond powder* 1 tsp pumpkin seed powder* 1 tsp vanilla powder* 1 TBS raw unfiltered honeyAfter shaking the contents in the Helmix Vortex Blender Shaker for less than 10 seconds everything blended together perfectly. There were no lumps or clumps. And, the smoothie was delicious.I chose the larger bottle size because this allows for more open inner space for shaking and complete blending of the ingredients.I will continue to use this amazing Helmix Vortex Shaker whenever I need a quick pick-me-up smoothie that requires ingredients that consists of only liquids and powders.The clean up was fast and easy. However, this should be done according to the directions. If you are using ingredients that contain oils, (e.g. chia seeds, flax seeds, peanut butter) it would be helpful with clean up procedures to wash the vortex bottle right after using. This is because the dried oils will harden in the vortex creases, making the cup harder to clean.The snap lid that covers the drinking spout fits tightly so that it doesn’t prop open while shaking. However, because I’m 87 years old I found it somewhat difficult to open but still doable. People who have arthritis in their hands might find this maneuver unmanageable.I found the Helmix Vortex Blender Shaker Bottle to be very sturdy and nothing leaked whatsoever. And, the design is beautiful.Overall, I consider the Helmix 2.0 Vortex Blender Shaker Bottle to be an amazing product of science technology. So, I will give this vortex shaker 5 super big stars with happy faces. Buy it. You won’t be disappointed.

No leaks, great design no shaking balls necessary easy to clean
This is my second purchase of the same protein shake bottle. My original purchase came from Walmart. I like the idea that it didn’t require plastic or metal balls inside the shaker that it was custom designed to be able to shake your protein shake without the extra additions sometimes those extra balls get lost or they get broken or they’re not dishwasher safe or can be hard to clean so the design of this is what caught my eye I fell in love with it. You can fill it with ice and buy already premade protein shakes or you can buy powders and add the liquid of your choice and shake it up just because it doesn’t have any shakers in. It does not mean it doesn’t shake up and mix your product. Well this actually works better than the shakers that have metal or plastic balls inside of them, I loved it so much that my son stole my first one and I had to buy another one for myself kind of glad that I did though because the first one was all black and now I was able to buy one with a pink lid, my two favorite colors, pink and black. This is an absolute fantastic design. It keeps your shake, nice and cold. The mouthpiece is easy to sip or add a straw never any leaks whatsoever from this dishwasher safe although I wash mine by hand and dry overnight I can’t describe enough on how great the concept of this bottle is you have absolutely no powdery residue no leaking great design great color assortment Yeah it’s a little bit on the pricey side, but it’s absolutely well worth every penny.

Improved product now is leak-free and mixes very well
This is an update.I originally was less than pleased with the shaker bottle; if you read below you’ll find that my bottle leaked – badly.The manufacturer reached out to me and kindly offered to send a replacement item which – after two weeks of use now – has performed leak-free. The lid screws down much more smoothly and the cover on the drinking spout clicks firmly closed with little effort (neither of these actions were smooth in the earlier, flawed item).As I said, to date I have been leak-free. The bottles – old and new – both admirably perform for mixing whey powder and other additives into my drinks, and I am pleased to have one that is leakproof now. I still don’t see the kind of “100%” mixing that is hinted at in the product advertisement, but it is still much better than I have ever achieved using a “wire ball” shaker. Usually the unmixed portion is just a few bits clinging to the inside of the lid or bottle (I’d call it “99% mixing”).Earlier review: As a mixing bottle, this actually does do a pretty decent job – not 100% mixing of powders, but pretty good overall, and better than any of the “wire ball” shakers I have used in the past.The downside is the incessant leaking; when shaken, it leaks around the threads and around the snap-spout.If they could have designed the lid better to prevent leaks, it would really be a great product. As it is, well, just don’t shake up your protein drinks in a carpeted area, or near furniture, or around electronics…

El mejor shaker que he tenido. Es verdad lo que promete: deja mi proteína completamente mezclada, homogénea, sin ningún grumo… y sin usar pelotita o malla. Es muy fácil de lavar, porque no tiene partes móviles, recobecos ni nada. Tanto los bordes del fondo, como los del “cilindro” o hexágonos son ligeramente curvos, es decir, no hay bordes pronunciados donde pueda acumularse la mezcla. Incluso las medidas están grabadas por fuera para que el interior sea completamente liso y nada se quede pegado. Como con cualquier otro shaker, recomiendo enjuagarlo bien al momento de terminar de beber el contenido (aunque lo vayamos a lavar bien con jabón hasta llegar a casa). El único detalle es que se va adelgazando hacia el fondo y meter la esponja hasta ese punto es un poco difícil, pero es posible hacerlo y si se enjuaga antes, no hay ningún problema. Está muy bien diseñado y los materiales se sienten duraderos. No tiene fugas. Últimamente he seguido la filosofía de “Buy only once” o “compre solo una vez” en la que se invierte en cosas de calidad que duren muchos más años, enfocándose en la calidad más que en la cantidad o evitando comprar cosas de dudosa calidad que igual van a terminar siendo remplazadas y van a ir a la basura. Vi este shaker recomendado en Reddit y foros sobre el tema y por eso me decidí a invertir en él. Me encantó, superó mis expectativas y no me decepcionó para nada.
