Easily gets rid of body odor
I don’t think I am old enough for old person smell, but I do like to get rid of body odors and in recent years it seems like the soaps I buy don’t seem to work as well as they used to. Not sure if it’s me or the soaps. So I tried persimmon soap, and it pretty effortlessly gets rid of body odors and has a light scent that I find doesn’t linger. So I just end up clean and not smelly. When I have purchased this in bar form, the bars are small and that makes them a bit harder to use. For that reason I decided to try this body wash. This is much better in my opinion. It lathers nicely, gets rid of any body odor quickly and has a light scent that still dissipates quickly. I have no doubt it would get rid of old person smell because it works well on other body odor.

Smells nice
Got this for after those especially stinky occasions; extra sweaty work, dealing with vehicle fluids, cutting up odoriferous foods like onions, etc.It does seem to do better than our normal soap, and leaves a nice citrusy smell in place of the stink. It takes awhile to suds up so you want to wet your hands then lather away from the water or you’ll just rinse it all off before it does anything.As a note: per Google “Nonenal, officially known as the compound 2-nonenal, is a chemical that causes a greasy, grassy odor often associated with aging. It was detected only in subjects 40 years or older in one study.”So I guess nonenal IS the ‘old person smell’

At Last… A Persimmon Wash That Actually Works
I spent thirty years tending persimmon orchards. I know the fruit inside and out… the sweetness, the sharpness, the sticky sap that gets into your clothes and somehow never leaves. I also know the less pleasant truth: farmers pick up smells. Strong ones. Lingering ones. Ones that make family members open windows even in winter.So for years, I tried to make my own persimmon soap. I boiled skins, dried peels, mixed concoctions that looked promising but made me smell like a jam factory hit by lightning. Nothing worked.This bottle, though finally did it.The persimmon in this wash is the real deal. It cuts straight through stubborn body odor and old sweat I thought was permanent. Despite the quirky way to advertise body wash, this body wash has become a favorite. The persimmon fragrance is subtle and refreshing—light enough not to overwhelm, yet it leaves a clean, pleasant note after rinsing. What stands out: it lathers easily, rinses without residue, and just a couple of pumps are enough for a full shower, making it both effective and economical. I was pleased by how well it eliminated strong outdoorsy odors in a single wash, something other soaps do not always do in one pass. Great utility sink companion.
Helps with removing/covering orders on your hands. We purchased this to keep by our utility sink. The purpose of it for us is to help remove orders on our hands from things such as slicing onions and cleaning fish. It even seems to help when you’re trying to wash off the smell of gasoline or diesel fuel on your hands from the garage. I would say the soap does a better job than regular soap removing scent. Although it does not remove all the scent completely, it removes enough to where its little bit of fragrance covers what is remaining. It is not an overwhelming smell that the soap has, which is great. The only reason we reduced it one star is, it does not produce much for suds. The soap is a thicker consistency than a typical hand soap, helping it to remain on the skin while washing your hands. It seems to do a fair job removing grime and dirt.

This is a review of forvirness Persimmon Body Wash.I don’t think I have the old-people-BO problem, but one would never know. I welcome any products that help me smell nice and feel nice. This body wash has pleasantly faint persimmon smell that’s not overwhelming nor lingering. Little goes a long way — I don’t need to use excessive amount of this product to wash whole body, but I do wish this came in a bigger bottle. The formula is moisturizing, makes my skin feel smooth, and does not irritate skin.
