My Viking husband with “ an epic beard “ LOVES this product!
I ordered this for my husband who takes pride in his beard. I will also add his personal opinion and review . He has very thick, dark hair and as he says “my beards sweet right, I’m like a Viking” or when asked which pic he wanted me to post, he said any of them- “my beard is Epic” so, as I’m scrolling, looking for something good and saw the name- it was fate. He has tried other beard products and brands . I am an esthetician and I always check the ingredients on products for my family and myself. Are there any harmful ingredients? Do they test on animals, how is the scent, Is it irritating to the skin? You get my drift. First, the name caught my eye bc my husband wishes he was viking-seriously. I watched the video and once I heard them speak and I read up on their brand and what they stood for- I was in. When it comes to price- You get what you pay for. If you want to spend less, you’re getting less of the actual product and less of the important good ingredients. Resulting in, having to use more of the product and end up spending more money bc you’re now flying through the particular product. Products for our face, hair etc are an investment and worth it. Back to the oil and how amazing it is. This oil is moisturizing and less is more! You’ll see why when I give my husbands personal opinion and review! So I gifted it to My husband, he saw the name and was smirking. I asked him questions so I can give you guys honest feedback (he’s a manly man-but also happy they do not test on animals)***okay, so from Eddie- After his shower, he’ll use 3 drops, he rubs the oil in hands -to activate it and applies it to his beard . He said,” he loves the smell, it’s neutral but smells fresh and manly ,not overpowering.” He said, it really tames his beard, makes it look good, it feels moisturizing and good. He also said, (just using 3 drops) when he has extra on his hands, he’ll rub it on his face and in his hair. His hair is very short but he has a shaped up “sweet “ full, thick beard and he loves this oil. He was just tolerating the other ones he’s used. He actually loves this one. I asked if he’d want me to purchase it again, he said absolutely. I asked how many stars would you give this oil? He said 5 for sure.So there you have it. We’re blunt, honest people . We are parents . We do not judge but we keep it real and wanted to share his experience with this product to help others looking into purchasing. Good product to help with beard maintenance
Good product. Great smell. Easy to apply. And does not cost an arm and a leg. It can be a bit sticky after application. It is not too oily, supplies the shine and quality needed to a healthy beard. It has helped my beard go from hard to softer. I have purchased this product 3 times so far. Good overall.

BOTH (UNSCENTED & SANDALWOOD)
UNSCENTED:The unscented oil still has a scent, just like most things do…I could sell you a skunk and accurately call it unscented as long as I didn’t add fragrance…The scent though is not unpleasant, and is fairly weak so no issues there…SANDALWOOD:I had no idea what the hell sandalwood smelled like, but I thought I’d give it a shot since it’s fairly common in beard oils…The scent in the “Viking Revolution” version is pretty strong…I didn’t even have to open the bottle, because I could smell it through the rubber dropper bulb…Smelled quite nice, but no still no idea if it was sandalwood…Luckily, the day after I bought it I met with a sandalwood aficionado/fanatic and was told that it smelled exactly like it should…DOES THIS BEARD OIL DO ANYTHING?It’s pretty low on hair and skin health ingredients..Jojoba and Argan oil…That’s it…But those two ingredients are key to keeping skin and hair hydrated so this bare minimum list certainly has the potential to help…I usually use an oil and balm combination, but skipped the balm for a while to see how this product worked…After washing and then partially drying my beard I would then use two full droppers and work it in…This oil is fairly thin compared to others, but maybe that’s a positive when trying to coat a thick beard? No, I can’t rationalize it that way…It’s thin, and there’s no benefit there…Ok, to answer the question…Yes, it will soften my beard (somewhat)…By soften I mean “less hard”, not “soft”…The benefits don’t last long either…My beard is turning back to steel wool and thorns by mid afternoon…So I carry the bottle with me along with a small beard comb to fix this problem…I have been applying it twice in the day, and again before sleep…That frequency will soften the beard…As to itching, it still itches, but the amount is fairly muted…The “beardruff”/fungus problems have been nonexistent because of frequent washing and brushing, so no idea if it would help otherwise…A few times I put it on a perfectly dry and hard beard to see what happened…Took about half hour each time to soften the beard again…Two stars for how well this stuff works, and another star for the relatively low price and a great scent…The smell is really what it has going for it…SANDALWOOD WITH BALM:Don’t worry about killing off the sandalwood scent if you use a balm on top of it…I’ve tried this with a couple of balms and the sandalwood scent stays put…RECOMMENDED ?I doubt I’ll be buying again…Hope this helps…Good luck !!!

Some people say the sandalwood scent is too lite probably because they don’t know the real smell of Sandalwood. Sandalwood smells like a fresh piece of wood and that is sandalwood. It doesn’t smell like any colognes or perfume. It smells like pure wood as I described and that’s the real scent of sandalwood. To get the maximum scent out, apply the oil to a clean beard then comb it with a blow dryer or heated brush. Then only you can see how strong sandalwood smells like and it stays all day long. Sometimes I mix it with Oud beard oil to tone down the sandalwood scent. Feel in beard for me is amazing!!!!!

Have a decent consistency and it worked for the beard flakes. Itching has resuced bit the smell is average. If you have an itchy beard, it will give you some relief.
